Weaving word after word
On this little piece of paper
Never know what I'm gonna be
Later in my future

Only one thing I'm sure now
It's this thing I'm doing
Writing word after words
To show you what's in my mind

In my writing I am living
A life no one have thought before
Here I am truly alive
In the world of my imagination

In the words I write
I live among the knights from time past
In the words I write
I ascend among the stars

In my mind there's an entire world
With flower garden and dragon's den
Now I wanna take you there
So just read every word I write

This one pen in my hand
Is my ticket to the unknown
As a sword and a steering wheel
As it tell in the words it write

This one book in my hand
Fragile as it is
And worn as I cover it with my scribbles
Is my blueprint for my many worlds

Weaving word after word
In the middle of night
Writing down my Mona Lisa
And describing my own Galaxy

I create worlds, I create life
I destroy worlds, I destroy life
All with a flick of my pen
Such is the fate of a writer

The clock is ticking
The dawn is breaking
Only seconds remaining
Till its time for parting

We don our black robes
We put on our pentagon caps
Into the hall we went
For a final ceremony

It's where our journey begins
As younglings almost four years ago
It's where our journey ends
On this day, as seasoned travellers

Of love, friendship and life
Many has we learned when we were together
Love we found, love we lost
Friendships come and go
As our season's coming to a close
Right on this day

Cause today is our graduation day
A day when a part of our journey ends
And another journey began anew
Our own life's journey
As members of this one big family

We were once little birds
Growing wings and learning to fly
It's now our time to fly on our own
On this big, wide world
And create our own life's story

One day,
You might soar high as an eagle
Or run fast as an ostrich
You might also be as a crow,
With no place where you belong
But never forget this one thing,
That you always have a home here

Many years from this day
It will be a day we look back to
When we were young birdlings learning to fly
Let only laughter remains
Of our time in this academy

The hall doors now open
The caps we have tossed
The music quieted down
Our graduation ceremony is over

This post is the continuation of my post about Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. I will give you the lyrics to the vocal part of the Symphony No. 9. It is a poem written by Friedrich Schiller, with some part added by Beethoven to be used in his composition. Here goes.

Well, there you go, my first post and my first poem to be published. It was meant to be a background poetry for a story concept in my mind. Basically, it's about someone who was betrayed, in despair and finally surrender to the darkness in him.
