IMO, this one is the opposite of the song Continued Story I've uploaded before. If CS brings with it the feeling of calm and closure, this song brings with it the feeling of life, especially in the reff. part. You can feel the screams of life and the feeling of the singers who refused to die. This song captures the exact mood of the story when it was first sung, since both singers were condemned to death in the story, and this song is their answer to their condemnation.

The Macross series is known for its great music (since every incarnation in the series has a central theme of songs, mecha, and love) , and Macross Frontier is no exception. It continues the tradition by having a lot of good songs, and music that really hits the spot. This one, AFAIK, holds the top position in the Japanese charts for several weeks, quite a feat for an anime theme song.

I often listen to this song when I need a pick-me-up. It hits the spot most of the time, and even if you don't like Macross (I don't really like the anime, BTW), I think you can find something to like in this song.

IMO, it's a good song and was really fitting for the mood of the last episode of CG, one of the most epic anime I've ever watched. I've grown to love the series, and the characters in it that I sometimes wished for it not to end, especially that way (I'm not going to spoil it. For you guys who haven't watched it yet, get a copy. It really worth every penny you pay for it).

Well, there you go, my first post and my first poem to be published. It was meant to be a background poetry for a story concept in my mind. Basically, it's about someone who was betrayed, in despair and finally surrender to the darkness in him.
